New air conditioner installation
Installation for homes, condominiums and workplaces, with an assessment of mounting positions, refrigerant piping, drainage and electrical requirements.
What the installation team needs to know
- Brand, model and BTU of the new air conditioner.
- Proposed indoor and outdoor unit locations.
- Expected piping distance and whether the area is difficult to access.
- Available electrical supply and drainage route.
Please provide photographs of the installation locations where possible.
Standard installation scope
The published standard installation guide is THB 4,500. The reference scope includes copper piping, power cable, drain hose and PVC trunking within four metres, plus the specified breaker components, vacuuming and basic system testing. The exact materials and scope must be confirmed by the branch.
Special drilling, extra electrical works, high-access equipment, additional brackets or extended piping may cost extra. The published starting rate for pipe runs beyond the standard allowance is THB 700 per metre.
Safety and handover
Electrical connections, refrigerant handling and vacuum testing should be carried out by qualified personnel. Ask for the agreed scope and final cost before work begins, and confirm that the completed installation has been tested.
